Project: Characterization and Treatments of Coated Fabrics
This project included collaboration with scientist from the Asian Art Museum to characterize coatings on a silk, Civil War era spy balloon followed by devising and carrying out treatment on the object.

Additional Experiences: Technical study and custom support for Yuri Gagarin’s training space suit, and developed a treatment method for a collection of Apollo-Soyuz polyurethane-coated fabric spherical flotation devices. This project included working with mount makers to design modular internal mounts.
