Space stations
Space stations are spacecraft that allow humans to live in space for an extended period of time. Today, astronauts routinely spend long durations on the International Space Station (ISS), an orbiting laboratory where the United States and space agencies from across the globe have been sending astronauts to live and work since 2000.
