Our simulator rides are a fun addition to any visit to the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. Tickets are required to ride, no advance reservations available.

Ride Simulators

Take an exciting trip on our dynamic motion capsule that moves riders as though they are flying.

Interactive Flight Simulators

You'll feel like you're flying in combat aircraft. Simulators let you control the action and perform 360-degree barrel rolls!

Ride Options Include: P-40 Warhawk, P-51 Mustang, F-4 Phantom II, F-16 Fighting Falcon, F-18 Hornet, and F-22 Raptor

VR Transporter

Be “transported” into space with our virtual reality attraction. Our electronic VR goggles immerse you in the action!

  • Tickets may be purchased at the Simulators or Airbus IMAX Theater box office.
  • No reservations are required.

Discounts

  • There is a one dollar discount when you also purchase an IMAX ticket.
  • Discounts are also available for groups of 10 or more.

Safety

  • Ride Simulator: Minimum 42" tall, unless accompanied by an adult.
  • Interactive Flight Simulator: Minimum 48" tall.
  • VR Transporter: Minimum 42" tall. VR riders cannot wear eyewear and hats.
  • All rides make sudden movements from side-to-side and forwards and backwards. Not recommended for expectant mothers or those who have back, neck, heart trouble, seizure disorders, or other medical conditions. Participate at your own risk.
  • Other restrictions may apply.
