Untitled drawing, 16 April 1972. Page from a bound sketchbook. The artist's depiction of the launch of Apollo 16 is represented by a very small launch pad at the bottom of the page and a cluster of tiny specks with a trail at the top of the page. The remainder of the page is empty, with the exception of writing in the lower right corner that reads: "at-12 seconds and counting I was starting to get excited the roar and vibration and the ground tremor and blinding sunlight from the tailend. 16 April 1972. Saturn Rocket Apollo 16 2 mins or so into the flight stage of rocket falling into the ocean."
