    Engineering prototype for the airbags used to soft-land the Pathfinder spacecraft on Mars on July 4, 1997. This is bag 4 of 4 and it is stored in an individual cardboard box on a skid with #'s 1 and 3. Made with Vectran high strength fiber over an airtight bladder layer surrounded by four layers of a slightly lighter Vectran fabric.
